Creative Director

Kurt Robertson was born an artist. Since a young child creativity has been in his blood. Born in Sydney Australia, he has grown up with a loving family and centred around Christian faith and the Church. Most of his childhood was spent in the country side and around animals. During his schooling life between create up dream house designs on paper and painting in the garage with anything he could get his hands on, Kurt would spend his days on the farm training horses. For almost 10 years he would spend all school holidays and afternoons here, feeding, riding and training them for the race track.

Once graduated from school he went on the work at Australia's largest Zoo, Taronga Western Plains Zoo. Conservation and protection of life is close to his heart which is why even now focusses on giving back to others where he can. 

Kurt graduated from Billy Blue College of Design in 2015, he focussed his studies on Interior Design. He has worked with some of the countries largest brands and developed large scale interiors for both residential and commercial clients, before starting his own design studio in 2017. 

The Studio

Robertsonkur is a Sydney based Art studio. Since 2011 Robertsonkur focus has been on delivering high quality and a timeless elegance in all we do. We focus on the natural world to improve the balance of daily life. To have individuals who strive for a better future, filed with love and compassion. The first Peony, Painted in 2017 by creative director Kurt Robertson. The Peony Flower inspired the creation of Robertsonkur and the Peony Garden Collection. 

The House Spirit

The House spirit is iconic for florals, in specific the Peony and are our house symbol. The combination of traditional Chinese Art and Culture around the Peony flower and the modernity of the House, comes an unparalleled studio lead by creative director. Focussed on bringing Compassion to others through all created in the House and its partners.
