Leony Peony

The Leony Peony is a layered floral composition developed within the Peony Garden series, executed in the studio’s established ink and surface language. The work is structured through repeated floral forms arranged in varying stages of development. Bud forms are positioned in contrast to fully opened blooms, establishing a visual system based on progression, repetition, and variation within a controlled composition. Each element is constructed as part of a unified arrangement, where differing stages of bloom are held within the same spatial field. The composition reflects the studio’s ongoing study of structure, movement, and controlled density within floral form.
